What We’re Looking For
Join us as a Producer to help us scale and conduct Kinstrife’s development in a healthy, sustainable way. You’ll be the organizational backbone of the project, keeping our remote team on schedule, budget, and focused on what matters most: working towards the vision. Your role won’t involve micromanaging or imposing heavy processes; we strongly believe in a “Minimum Viable Process” and prioritize trust and autonomy over endless meetings and check-ups. Instead, you’ll help establish lightweight, people-centric workflows that grow naturally with the team, empower people to do their best work, while ensuring Kinstrife remains on track to ship.
What You’ll Do
- Be a champion of the game vision
- Help ensure that Kinstrife ships on time at a high quality
- Own day-to-day project coordination across all disciplines, ensuring the team stays aligned on priorities and timelines
- Work closely with founders to maintain and communicate the production schedule, tracking progress against milestones and identifying potential risks early
- Throughout your work, ensure that design specifications are in line with technical feasibility and within constraints
- Facilitate cross-discipline collaboration and help resolve conflicts or blockers between team members
- Establish and evolve team processes as we scale, finding the right balance between structure and flexibility for a remote, async-first culture
- Keep the team focused on scope and help identify when features need adjustment or re-prioritization
- Coordinate internal playtesting and feedback cycles to ensure quality and alignment with our vision
- Support and coordinate the ramp-up in Technical QA efforts QA coordination, making sure quality standards are met as we approach release
- Help build and maintain team culture, morale and communication across a fully remote, growing team
What’s Needed
- 3-5+ years of experience in game production or project management with at least one shipped title
- Strong understanding of game development processes and how different disciplines work together
- Experience coordinating remote/distributed teams
- Pragmatic approach to process: you implement what the team needs, not a rigid process from a textbook
- Ability to identify risks and blockers early, and proactively work to resolve them
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to see the big picture
- Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomy
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills for async collaboration
Bonus Points
- Experience working with Codecks
