We’re a small remote studio based in Germany & the Netherlands, working together to build Kinstrife: a historical strategy-RPG that combines character progression, strategic depth with riveting physics-based combat.

We run on trust & autonomy rather than hierarchy, value iteration over perfection, and focus on what truly matters to players. We’re currently scaling up our team and are looking for people who share our approach to making games.

We are fully funded for the next years, giving us the runway to build Kinstrife thoughtfully and with long-term focus

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for people who are self-driven, love historical settings, and work best with context & goals rather than daily task lists. You’ll collaborate in a team that communicates openly, works beyond role boundaries, and keeps player experience central. If building something meaningful over years with a team you trust sounds right, we’d love to talk.

All available positions are fully remote but – generally – require you to reside in Germany.

Our approach is Minimum Viable Process: lean workflows, async-first communication, and fewer meetings so you can focus on what matters. You’ll have real creative ownership shaping a unique historical RPG, connect with the team at two annual in-person meetups (fully covered), and work at a sustainable pace built for the long term, backed by secured funding that allows us to plan ahead with confidence.
